Argyle – We are located in the Argyle Forest section of Jacksonville, FL, (Duval County) adjacent to Orange Park, FL (Clay County) We are close to I-295 and the Orange Park Mall. The first services at this location were held in 1991.
Church – We are a spiritual home to 350 people. We seek to be a God-focused body who embrace simplicity in worship and who search God’s perfect Word and seek His wisdom to understand fully His masterful design of His earthly body – the church. We are first a body who honors and praises God, and because of that we serve each other and our community – both local and global.
Of Christ – The death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith and the basis of our hope.
We share the name “church of Christ” with many churches across the world – each birthed from events played out over 2000 years ago, and refocused over 200 years ago in what is known as the Restoration Movement. But we stand as a church that is autonomous – without conventions, boards or human heirarchy. We truly seek to understand God’s mission for this place and carry out that mission in whatever way God leads us.
