Nathan Freeman is the Youth Minister for the Argyle church of Christ. His roles include overseeing, coordinating, and leading the spiritual development of youth grades 6 & 12. Some specific responsibilities are oversight of the Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes, planning activities such as mission trips, devotionals, service opportunities, youth retreats, camps and many other fun youth activities. Nathan is also involved in personal Bible studies and family counseling.
He came to Jacksonville from Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee with a bachelors in Communications and Bible. He's married to Rachel, the most beautiful woman in the world. Rachel and Nathan have two wonderful children Kamryn and Rylan. Both children are looking forward to growing up and supporting their parents one day.
If you like a Florida college team, sorry, Nathan's a HUGE Auburn University fan. He loves just about every sport on God's green Earth. His hobbies include whitewater kayaking (NOT rafting), kayak surfing, golf, playing guitar, and holding his children.
Nathan is honored to serve as a youth minister at Argyle. The people are warm and spirit led. He also enjoys all the students involved in the youth ministry except Cory. Just kidding Cory!
Nathan's favorite thought provoking question: If a cow laughed too hard would milk come out its nose? If you have any questions you can e-mail him at ArgyleYM@aol.com. |
